Paul Gormley is the Director of Global Commerce Partnerships for Google where he leads the team partnering with merchants on Google's ecommerce, local shopping, wallet and payments products. Prior to Google, Paul was a principal at McKinsey & Company in Silicon Valley, where he was head of the West Coast Consumer practice. Paul brings to Google a passion for e-commerce and consumer technology. He developed and implemented e-commerce and multi-channel sales strategies for numerous retailers, telco retailers, consumer electronic players and global e-commerce companies. Paul also has an entrepreneurial spirit, manifesting itself with a stint at grocery home delivery startup Webvan, where he led design and development of its webstore, content management, merchandising and marketing systems.
