Sajal Kohli is a Director in the Chicago Office who leads the Americas Retail Practice of McKinsey & Company. His client work at the Firm has spanned North and South America, Europe and Asia across Retail in the areas of Strategy, Growth, Multichannel, Digital and Operations Effectiveness. Recent client experiences have included: Creating omnichannel strategy for a leading Specialty Retailer; Creating a personalization journey and marketing mix effectiveness for a leading retailer;
Developing a multi-channel customer contact strategy for leading Mall retailer;
Redesigning the Consumer decision journey for a multi-category big box retailer; and McKinsey proprietary research on ‘tearing down’ Amazon’s business model to inform competitive response for several retail formats.
Prior to joining the Firm, Sajal worked in Europe and Asia in fast moving consumer products and fashion apparel. Sajal holds a Master of Management degree from Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he is also guest faculty.
